Why Would I Choose This Background?

I know most people reading this first post would wonder why I would choose a background of rain on a window. I live in an area not know for a lot of rain; some would even say "it's depressing!" First, I love rain - everything about it. I love that the evaporated moisture finds it's way back into the clouds that travel the air currents and bring the moisture back to replenish the land. I love the smell of damp earth. I love the pitter-pat rain makes on my roof. I love the way the plants rise up to grab hold of every drop. So, you may ask, is that why I chose this background. Uh uh, nah, nope.

The first scene of my Work In Progress (WIP) working title: Reflections On Glass, takes place during a rain storm in Los Angeles. As my Female Main Character (FMC) is lost in thought, she surveys the view from her office through a window being pelted by rain. That's all, no other reason. I thought I'd give it a try and see how it would look. The same way I'm testing this Blogspot over another one.

So, enjoy. I just might change it tomorrow.
